​​These premises asked for extremely careful scaffolding work not only on the building itself, but also on the terraces, lawns and gardens. iScaff worked closely with the project manager to ensure minimal impact on the Government House operations.

Scaffolding to provide access and working platforms for painting the apartment block. Installation and dismantling of the scaffolding were done with the help of a gin wheel and specially designed transport bags for smaller items.

The scaffolding was also erected over the cable car tracks which demanded very careful installation of cantilevered working platforms.

​​The scaffolding was erected for changing electrical fittings under the ceiling of the sanctuary. Very careful work was required in these delicate surroundings among many valuable objects.

To enable roof repairs on Massey University Block 10 iScaff was asked to build a temporary roof which was 48m long with an 18m wide span. As an extra difficulty this roof was build on lower buildings with glass roofs. Only the access tower and storage platform of the scaffolding were built on the ground.

For this scaffolding over a canopy with glass it was essential to drill steel anchors into the wall above the glass which acted as the scaffolding foundation. In addition, to avoid any major traffic management on Lambton Quay the scaffolding components were lowered down from the above car park.
